Dyna Truck: Payload and When to Choose It for City Distribution
A Dyna is the smallest truck you can book on Mirabk, a rigid truck available in two classes: the standard Dyna carrying 3 tonnes on a 6 m body, and the large Dyna carrying 5 tonnes on a 6.5 m body. It's used mainly for city distribution — deliveries to shops, branches and packaging supplies — where it reaches neighborhoods and narrow streets more easily than larger trucks.
Most city distribution orders in Saudi Arabia don’t need a trailer or even a flatbed — they need a truck that can reach the neighborhood, pull right up to the shop, and carry several orders in one trip. That truck is the Dyna. This guide covers its two classes, their payloads, and when to choose each.
What is a Dyna?
A Dyna is the smallest rigid truck you can book on Mirabk, smaller than a box truck or flatbed. It comes in two classes by payload, and is used mainly for commercial distribution inside cities: deliveries to shops, branches and small warehouses.
Dyna payload and types
| Type | Max payload | Deck length | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dyna | 3 t | 6 m | Deliveries to shops and branches |
| Large Dyna | 5 t | 6.5 m | Commercial distribution, packaging supplies |
The difference between the two is small in length (half a metre) but clear in payload (two extra tonnes), making the large Dyna the better choice for any mid-size commercial order over 3 tonnes.
When to choose a Dyna
- Deliveries to shops and branches. Enough payload for several orders in one trip, and a size that fits commercial neighborhood streets.
- Packaging supplies and recurring restocking. The large Dyna specifically suits periodic mid-volume supply runs.
- Areas with tight entrances. A Dyna is smaller and easier to maneuver than a box truck or flatbed, reaching streets larger trucks can’t.
- Orders that don’t need weather protection. If the cargo isn’t affected by sun or dust, a Dyna is enough without needing an enclosed box truck.
Dyna vs box truck
A box truck is larger than a Dyna at 10 tonnes with an enclosed body that protects cargo from sun and dust, but it maneuvers less easily on narrow streets compared to a Dyna. The Dyna is the smaller, more maneuverable choice: reasonable commercial payload with easy access inside cities.

When should I choose a large Dyna over a standard one?
When your load exceeds 3 tonnes or you need slightly more deck space for the same number of trips. A large Dyna carries two extra tonnes for just half a metre more body length.
